Laser Shooting Competition
Activities: Laser pistol shooting and running.
Age Categories:
Under 9: Born 2015-2017
2 rounds of 5m laser shooting + 2 rounds of 300m running.
Under 11: Born 2013-2014
2 rounds of 5m laser shooting + 2 rounds of 300m running.
Under 13: Born 2011-2012
3 rounds of 5m laser shooting + 3 rounds of 300m running.
Under 15: Born 2009-2010
4 rounds of 5m laser shooting + 4 rounds of 300m running.
Rules and Requirements:
- Adherence to international Laser Run rules and federation guidelines is mandatory.
- Players must comply with tournament schedules and be present on time.
- All participants must bring their own sportswear and necessary equipment.
- Players who fail to meet the required standards or delay may be disqualified.
- Safety and compliance are top priorities during both shooting and running activities.
Competition Setup:
A dedicated rectangular shooting area:
- 3m width, 12m length.
- Includes targets numbered 1–10.
Tables and chairs
- Shooting tables: 60cm × 60cm (height: 80cm).
- Two tables for scoring within the playing field.
Running path marked with cones.
Podium setup for winners:
- Levels 1, 2, and 3 for the top three positions.
Medals awarded to winners in all age categories.
Equipment Provided by the Federation:
- 10 laser pistols and associated targets.
- Electronic system for participant registration and result tracking.
- Starting and finishing gates.
Staff and Judges:
- A total of 20 judges and technical staff will manage the competition.
- Compensation for staff: AED 500 per day.
Additional Notes:
- Participants must register electronically.
- The competition ensures fairness and adheres to standardized rules for all participants.
Fencing Competition
Boys & Girls
U11 (Born in 2014-2015)
U13 (Born in 2012-2013)
U11 and U13 may be merged depending on the number of participants.
Regional Competition:
Competitions will take place at regional levels, with the following structure:
- Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Fencing Club
- Dubai and Sharjah: Asma bint Al Noman Hall
- Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah: Sheikh Zayed Sports Complex
Competition Format:
- All competitions begin with group stages followed by knockout rounds.
- Group stage: 5 touches per match (3 minutes per round).
- Knockout rounds: 15 touches per match (three 3-minute periods).
- In case of a tie, 1 additional minute is added, with the winner determined by the next touch.
Finals:
- A total of 16 players qualify for the finals, distributed as follows:
- Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain: 6 players
- Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra: 4 players
- Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah: 6 players
- Players are divided into 2 groups of 8, and the knockout rounds continue to the final.
Rules
- Matches follow international fencing standards for safety and equipment.
- Certified equipment and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
Notes:
- Medals are awarded to the top 4, with certificates for places 5 to 8.
- The federation reserves the right to modify rules based on real-time requirements.
Archery Competition

Bow Types:
Regional Competition:
- First group: Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Dhafra
- Second group: Dubai, Sharjah, and Eastern Region
Competition Format:
- Indoor shooting at a distance of 18 meters.
- Each archer shoots 20 rounds of 3 arrows (total of 60 arrows).
- Each round lasts a maximum of 2 minutes.
- Top 16 players from each group qualify for the finals based on total points.
Finals:
- Finals are played as a knockout starting from the quarter-finals.
- Each match consists of 5 rounds of 3 arrows
- Winners are determined by total points or closest shot to the bullseye in case of a tie.
Important Notes:
- Equipment inspection and adherence to international archery rules are mandatory.
- Players must wear sports attire and use their own equipment.
- Training is required ahead of the competition.

Rules
Each school can register a maximum of 3
students in each individual race and one team in
the relay. Each student from a school is only
allowed to participate in a maximum of 2 races
and a relay. Any individual race can be
conducted with a minimum of 2 swimmers.
Qualifications to the Finals
The top 8 best times in each race will qualify to
the finals
Requirements
Swimmers must have their own swimming cap and goggles.

Rules
Each school is allowed to register up to 4
players in each weight category.
Each Player plays a single round for a maximum
of 4 minutes. If the match is tied at the end of 4
minutes and no player has won, an additional 4
minutes are added to the game. If the victory is not determined during the additional minutes,the referee will designate the winner through
consultation among themselves, selecting the
winner at the end.
Each player must wear the proper Judo
competition uniform and belt.
Each player will be weighed on the competition
day wearing their uniform to ensure the correct
category.
Qualifications to the Finals
The winner in each weight in Dubai and Eastern
Region will face off at the finals in Abu Dhabi
Requirements
Players must have their own Judo Aikido uniform and belt.

Taekwondo Competition

Regional competition:
- Each school can register 1 player only in each
weight in both competitions.
- Knockout Format for both competitions and all
weights
- All players must have protective gear for their
hands, wrists, teeth, shins and private parts. All
players must have their own leg sensors (KPNP)
The Taekwondo federation will provide each
player with protectors for the head and chest
with sensors.
Finals:
A total of 80 students (male and female
combined and ratio will be determined based
on number of registered players in each gender)
qualify for the finals, divided into 4 players from
each category and each weight
Rules
Each Game is played as 2 rounds for a maximum
of 1.5 minutes for each round , with a 1-minute
rest between each round. The winner is the one
who obtains the highest points. if its a draw
they play one extra round
Each player will be weighed on the competition
day at 08:00AM

Finals:
The 8 best results in each discipline will qualify
to the finals (boys and girls)
Rules
- Each school can register a maximum of 5
athletes per event per age category.
- Each athlete can participate in 2 events plus
a relay event.
- For the long jump, high jump, shot put and
javelin disciplines each athlete will have 3
tries and the best result from the 3 will be
recorded. Maximum time per try is 1
minute
- In high jump at the finals if there are only 2
athletes, the time per jump is 1 minute 30
seconds; if there are more than 2 athletes
the time per jump is 1 minute.
Requirements
All athletes must have running
shoes and sports attire. Athletes without
running shoes will be disqualified.

Badminton Competition

Regional Competition Venues:

Each school can nominate up to 4 players per category. Players must have valid UAE residency and meet the age group requirements.
Requirements:
- Players must bring their own badminton racquets.
- Players must wear appropriate badminton attire and shoes.
Rules:
- The tournament will follow a single-elimination format.
- Matches consist of three sets; each set is played to 11 points.
- If tied at 10-10, play continues until one player leads by 2 points or reaches 15 points.
Finals:
- Quarters and Semis: 3 sets to 15 points, with a 2-point advantage rule, max 21 points.
- Finals: 3 sets to 21 points, as per BWF rules.
Conduct and Discipline:
- Players must adhere to the tournament schedule and respect umpire decisions.
- Trainers and team managers must stay in designated areas and may only coach during specific intervals.
Notes:
- Players must check in at least 10 minutes before their match.
- Each player can participate in only one category.
General Rules & Regulations
- Each Team should be accompanied by
Administrative Staff and Supervisors for
the safety of their athletes.
- All referee decisions are final.
- Any dispute over refereeing matters
should be written to the Technical
Committee following the end of the
match in question and within a time
limit of one hour from the time of the
dispute.
- The written dispute must be submitted
using the championship form that is
available with the venue manager on
site.
- A fee of AED 250 per dispute is
applicable for complaint registration.
- If a team/athlete is not on the
pitch/court/race venue within 10
minutes of the scheduled time the
result will be forfeited
- Each week all players must have their
Emirates ID (original or clear copy) with
them at registration.
- Group sport players can be changed
latest by Wednesday each week.
- No adjustments to players will be
accepted after February 16, 2024, and
registered players on this date will be
the only ones allowed to participate in
the Finals
Code of Conduct Players
- Coaches and managers are solely responsible
for the actions of their players and parents. Any
breaches in the Code of Conduct by members of
a team will impact the team as a whole
- Must play fairly – players won’t cheat,
complain or waste time
- Must respect teammates, the other team, the
match officials and coach/manager
- Must play by the rules, as directed by the
referee
- Must always respect the decision of the match
officials
- Must never engage in, or tolerate, offensive or
abusive language or behavior
- Must shake hands with the other team and
referee at the end of the game
- Any player who does not adhere to the Code
of Conduct will be asked to leave the playing
area by the coach of the team they represent.
Games will not resume until this occurs
Code of Conduct Spectators
Coaches and managers are solely responsible
for the actions of their players and parents. Any
breaches in the Codes of Conduct by members
of a team will impact the team as a whole
- Must stay away from the playing fields. No
spectators near the touchline areas
- Must remember that children play for FUN
- Must always respect the decisions of the
match officials
- Must let the coach do their job and not
confuse the players by telling them what to do
- Must encourage the players to respect the
opposition, referees, and match officials
- Must avoid criticizing a player for making a
mistake – mistakes are part of learning
- Must never engage in, or tolerate, offensive or
abusive language or behavior
- Consistently bad behavior from teams and
players will result in the following:
The team will be subject to disciplinary action
which may include, but not limited to losing a
match, player receiving a warning, player being
removed from the league, or team being
removed.
