On Your Mark, Get Set, Go Youth Athletics Championship Awaits!

Competition Format

  • Each athlete is allowed to participate in a maximum of two individual races, in addition to one relay race.
  • Participants must arrive at the venue at least 1 hour before the start time to ensure bib numbers are collected.
  • Heats will be held per age group per discipline.
  • Athletes must be present at their competition area 30 minutes before the start of their event.

Running

  • U13 : 100m, 200m, 400m
  • U15 : 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m
  • U17 : 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m

Relay

  • U13 : 4X50m
  • U15 : 4X100m
  • U17 : 4X100m

Jumping

  • U13 : Long Jump
  • U15 : Long Jump, High Jump
  • U17 : Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump

Throwing

  • U13 : Girls Shotput - 1kg, Boys Shotput - 2kg
  • U15 : Girls Shotput - 2kg, Boys Shotput - 3kg, Javelin - 400g
  • U17 : Girls Shotput - 3kg, Boys Shotput - 5kg,
    Discus - 1kg, Girls Javelin - 500g, Boys Javelin - 700g
